Play hangman online with strangers

How to play

1. Open the video chat and confirm your age.
2. Allow your camera and microphone, add topics if you like, and press Start to meet a random stranger.
3. Once you are connected, tap Games and choose Hangman. The stranger has 20 seconds to accept.
4. If you sent the invite, type a secret word of 3 to 20 letters, A to Z only. The stranger sees only how long it is.
5. If you were invited, guess one letter at a time. Correct letters appear wherever they occur in the word.
6. Solve the word before six wrong guesses complete the figure. If the guesser runs out of guesses, the word is shown.

Rules and requirements

• Words use the letters A to Z only and are 3 to 20 letters long: no spaces, digits or accents.
• Each letter can be guessed only once, one guess at a time.
• The secret word stays on the setter’s device; the guesser only receives the full word at the end, if they run out of guesses.
• Your camera can be on or off while you play, but you need to allow camera and microphone access to start the video chat.
