Play Connect 4 online with strangers
Yawnfox lets you play Connect Four, also called Connect 4, with a random stranger during a free video chat, right in your browser. After you are matched, invite them from the Games menu; whoever invites plays yellow and drops first, and the first to line up four discs wins.

How to play
- Open the video chat and confirm your age.
- Allow your camera and microphone, add topics if you like, and press Start to meet a random stranger.
- Once you are connected, tap Games and choose Connect Four. The stranger has 20 seconds to accept.
- Take turns dropping a disc into one of the seven columns; it falls to the lowest free space. The inviter is yellow and drops first.
- Line up four of your discs in a row, a column or a diagonal to win. If the board fills up with no line, it is a draw.
Rules and requirements
- The board has 7 columns and 6 rows.
- Turns strictly alternate, and a full column cannot take another disc.
- Moves go between your two browsers, never through our servers.
- Your camera can be on or off while you play, but you need to allow camera and microphone access to start the video chat.
Questions
Is Connect 4 the same as Connect Four?
Yes, it is the same four-in-a-row game. In the Games menu it is called Connect Four.
Who drops first?
Whoever sends the invite plays yellow and drops first.
Can I choose who I play against?
No. Yawnfox matches you with a random stranger, optionally by shared topic; there is no way to pick a particular person.
